I was born and grew up in Bali, the tiny island within Indonesia’s archipelago. The island that is known by the world as the Island of the Gods.
Coming from the lineage of Priest/Priestess from my mother’s side, I was grateful to find a way to share the family legacy with the world by hosting some cultural and spiritual experiences in Bali together with my family.
Recently, I have also enjoyed collaborating with Drishti Journeys, a travel company that hosts yoga and wellness retreats in exciting destinations around the world, founded by my husband. Going to year number 10 (in 2025), Drishti Journeys has successfully hosted retreats in Bali – Indonesia, Bhutan, Croatia, Iceland, Patagonia, Peru, Sayulita, Switzerland, and Terschelling Island – The Netherlands. These retreats hosted by Drishti Journeys provide both cultural immersion and spiritual experiences to those who come to every destination.
I have traveled personally and professionally with Drishti Journeys outside of the country.
In 2023 began my year of traveling to The Netherlands, hosting retreats in Croatia and Switzerland, and doing a short European travel in Paris – France, and Venice – Italy.
The 2024 travel, Bhutan was the first country in March. Then toward the end of the year: The Netherlands, Croatia, The Dolomites – Italy, Portugal, Terschelling Islands, Peru – South America, Patagonia – Chile.

Agung Ulan and Agung Mewa
In 2021, Putu invited Agung Ulan and Agung Mewa to guide the guests for the Holy Water Purification Ceremony. Until today, we remained a solid team! They even enjoy their journey to be of service to others and this is the path they believe brought joy and fulfillments to their hearts
Agung Ulan – on the left in a white shirt – is a mother of 2 teenagers. She is the one who you will see mostly with us. She is passionate about culture and tradition. She is the master of Balinese offerings.
Agung Mewa – on the right in a flowery shirt – is also a mother of two. A hard-working and humorous lady. She is the administrative staff at one of the High Schools in the Gianyar area. She likes to use the opportunity whenever her schedule allows in guiding the guests.
And if you are wondering if they are sisters, Not Exactly! Putu, Agung Ulan, and Agung Mewa are cousins
